As the statutory consumer watchdog for the energy and postal industries, we advocate for consumer rights in these sectors.

What is Research & Campaigns Work?

We are all affected by the rules and principles that shape the services and benefits we rely on. These are reflected in legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and the policies of service providers. However, they are not always clearly written down or easy to access.

Some policies affecting Citizens Advice clients are national, such as social security, employment, and immigration laws. Others are shaped by local policies and practices, including housing benefits, community care, housing, health, and education.
